The EWGA National Championship was held in Aloha, Oregon on September 26th and 27th at the Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club. Our Santa Barbara Chapter was well represented with Beth Rinehold playing in the Championship Flight and Carol Frazzano-Bailey playing in the First Flight. The championship was held on the North Course that is a challenging 132 slope. Beth tied for second low net in the Championship Flight and was awarded Third based on a card off. Carol had a tough first round but came back to shoot an 83 in the second round. We are so proud of both of our competitors. Gretchen Ostergren and Irelle Beatie made the trip as spectators/cheerleaders and to compete in the 2 person Best Ball tournament that was offered. A great time was had by all!
